This renewal weekend is for those seeking spiritual renewal with an opportunity to deepen their faith within their parish community. Consisting of two days of prayer, scripture, fellowship and the sacraments, WELCOME has helped hundreds of women in the parish to see Christ in everyday life. There is no cost to attend, but space is limited. A renewal weekend is projected for Spring 2022.
To attend, one must be a practicing Catholic (age 21+), who is a parishioner of Saint William and who has never attended a WELCOME retreat weekend before. To register, email Rita Gonzalez at rdgonzalez131@gmail.com
Within the Catholic tradition, spiritual direction has an honored place as a means to grow in our union with God.
Spiritual direction is an ongoing relationship between someone desiring to grow closer to their Lord and a person trained as a spiritual director. Through regular meetings, the director helps the directee recognize and listen to the movements of the Spirit in his or her life.
The ultimate Spiritual Director is always the Holy Spirit. The human director's role is to assist with spiritual discernment in a prayerful, supportive way. The directee commits to a personal prayer life and to following Christ more completely each day.
The Diocese of Austin maintains a list of qualified spiritual directors. To obtain this list, contact Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat Center at 254-780-2436.

Open to all men of the parish, this group meets every Wednesday morning before work. The group meets via Zoom, listens to a presentation that is geared toward men of faith, then spends time in discussion.
Please invite a friend, your dad, or a son over 18 — every man is invited!
