“We enter religious life because we want to be Spouses of Christ and follow the Lamb wherever He takes us.”
-Mother Adela Galindo, SCTJM Foundress
Four years ago (almost to the day), Mother Adela, our Mother Foundress, shared with me the possibility of coming to serve in the Diocese of Austin, Texas, along with two more sisters. I am grateful to the Lord, to Mother Adela, my Sisters, Fr. Francisco and the parishioners of St. William, for allowing me to serve here for the last three and a half years, bringing the beauty of our Marian charism.
As with all things entrusted to the Lord, this season of service now gives way to a new call. I have recently been asked to return to serve in the Archdiocese of Miami, Florida, to help fill an urgent need. It has been my joy to work with the wonderful staff and serve the family of St. William. I am forever grateful.
Please, kindly know of my prayers and love — I take you in my heart. As I pray for you, I humbly ask you to pray for the St. Wiliam team and the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary at this time of transition. May our Lady take us to Her loving Son always.
In the Love of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary,
Sr. MarthaMaria Gomez-Chow, SCTJM
