RCIA
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
The RCIA is the sacramental formation process that initiates individuals into the Christian way of life, specifically in the Roman Catholic tradition. Conversion is at the heart of this way of life. The RCIA facilitates the conversion experience in the midst of the community and creates a ‘space’ for adults to share faith together.
The Fall 2009 RCIA meetings have begun, all sessions are being video recorded and can be found on the following website:
At St. William, our process starts with informal monthly inquiry meetings, then formal RCIA sessions in the fall.

The RCIA provides ministry opportunities for team members and sponsors. The role of the sponsor is one of spiritual friend, support and care. You represent the parish community in a special way. You also provide a one-to-one support for the person during this period of growth and development.
