Ministries

  • Altar Flowers - Help is needed each week to provide and arrange the flowers for Mass.  Debbie George 255-4473.
  • Altar Servers - Young men and women in grades 4-12 who assist the priest and deacon with books, candles and gifts at Mass, Stations of the Cross and other special liturgies.  Debbie George 255-4473.
  • Arts & Environment - Teens and adults who help change decorations in the church from one liturgical season to another.  Debbie George 255-4473.
  • Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLW) - At the 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday, the children are taken to the hall by the Deacon and the readings are presented in language the children can understand, Children serve as lectors, ushers and also sing in the choir.  Holly Gage 244-2606.
  • Eucharistic Adoration - Every Friday from 7:00AM to 7:00PM the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the chapel.  At least two people are needed each hour to spend time in prayer before the real presence of Jesus.  In addition, all night adoration is held on the First Friday of each month beginning at 10:00PM in the church.  Yamila Albizu 828-4996.
  • Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion - Confirmed Catholics who have completed the Eucharist Minister training and have been commissioned help distribute the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass.  Debbie George 255-4473.
  • Homebound Ministers - Confirmed Catholics who have completed the Eucharistic Minister training and have been commissioned bring the Body of Christ to the homebound.  Mary Cavett 388-0016.
  • Lectors - Men and women who have completed lector training and have been commissioned to prepare and proclaim the Sacred Scriptures at Mass and other celebrations.  Patricia Ring 244-0064.
  • Liturgy Committee - Composed of representatives of ministries that serve at Mass.  Plan liturgies that celebrate holydays and other special days in the church calendar.  The Pastor appoints members.  Debbie George 255-4473.
  • Music Ministry - Instrumentalists and singers who lead the congregation in sung prayer.  Each choir holds weekly practice sessions.  Dimitar Ninov 310-0926.
  • Nursery - Provides childcare services during Saturday evening and Sunday Masses as listed in the Sunday bulletin.  
  • Rosary Devotion - All are invited to prayer the Rosary in Church on Sunday at 7:00 AM (Spanish) and 8:55 AM (English) and Wednesday at 7:40 PM in the Chapel and after First Saturday Mass in the church.  Marie Christy 255-3376.
  • Teen Liturgy
  • Ushers - Men and women who welcome the faithful at the Church doors, assist with seating, offertory collection and procession of gifts, communion processions and distribution of bulletins.  Ron Davis 244-2324.
