2nd Grade Sacrament Requirements

  1) Student must be enrolled in Religious education program or attend a Catholic school.  Documentation required              if transferring from another Parish.
  2) Present proof of baptism (Baptism Certificate).
  3) Must attend weekly St. William classes the entire year. Call the office at 255-9118 and leave message if child will          be out.   

  4) Must be registered by September 15th, 2007 and attending class. 

  5) Parent Meetings are mandatory (1 each for Eucharist/Reconcilation). 

  6) First Communion Retreat (2-3 hours not overnight) for parent and child.

  7) First Communion mandatory interview.  At least one parent must be present.

  8) First Communion mandatory retreat/practice.

  9) $25.00 fee for home-study books (Includes Reconciliation and Eucharist)

  Preparation:

  1) Completion of home-study workbooks.

  2) Interview to include - 6 Questions from page 58 of the Home Study First Eucharist Book

                                    7 Prayers - Sign of the Cross, Grace Before Meal, Morning Offering, Glory to the Father

                                                    Act of Contrition, The Lord's Prayer and Hail Mary
