giving thanks

We received Fr Joel's official tax receipt for 2007. It's President's day today. Tonight is St Williams' parish mission night also. It may be a good time to pause and reflect and give thanks to God for all God's blessings. St Williams' capital campaign exceeded expectations. It's a good time to give thanks. We give thanks to God because God answered our prayers as a community, as a family, as a disciple. It's a good time to renew our efforts to be humble and to acknowledge our dependence on the Vine.

The day lilies started flowering in our backyard. Spring is almost here.

God is good, all the time.
