Young Adult Group

Why are we here?

The group was started by newcomers to the parish who were interested in meeting other young people in the church. Our mission is to gather together to worship, to learn, to serve, and to have fun. We wish to explore our rich Catholic faith and our love for Jesus Christ. Our group has had a great start and, with your help, we can continue to have a great time and grow in our faith together.

What do we do?

Our activities are grouped into four categories: Social, Study, Spiritual, and Service. At our quarterly meetings, we do our best to balance the mix of activities to fit into these categories. If there is any specific event you would like to see take place, please plan to participate in our quarterly meeting and bring it up as a suggestion!

Who is invited?

What's our definition of "young" you ask? Adults ages 18 (and out of high school) to 39 are invited to join our group. You will find people of your age within the group, so don't feel out of place. We are always looking for new members to our group so feel free to invite your friends as well. We are an English speaking group. The Spanish speaking community at St. William's has a well established Young Adult Group. In the future, we plan to participate in some combined events.

How do you get involved?

We meet quarterly to plan events and arrange who will be responsible for each. If you are looking for a way to get directly involved, this is the place for you! Our events are planned directly by the members of the group so you have direct impact on what the group does. If you are not able to take part in the quarterly meeting, you can still participate. Keep an eye on the bulletin, or check the web site for our calendar of events. Hope to see you soon!
